Grace giving involves ordinary people displaying an extraordinary God. This extraordinary God puts resources into our hands primarily through our daily labor, so that we can share with those in need.

We brought nothing into this world, and our coffins though lined with satin are not safety deposit boxes. Between birth and death, God has graces us with material benefits. When we came to Jesus by faith, we came under new management…and so did our stuff. With new hearts, we have found the joy of generously giving to those who are truly in need.

…brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia: 2 that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality. 3 For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, 2 Corinthians 8:1-3

    Matthew 6:19, 20; 25:31-46; 2 Cor. 9:6-8; Gal. 6:10; Eph. 4:28; 1 Tim. 6:6-10, 17-19

Grace giving begins with giving ourselves as well as our goods (goods and services)

  • Needs of the saints
  • Needs of the poor
  • Needs of the community
  • Needs internationally
